Here’s the calculation that surprises eastern Iowa coaches: Dubuque clears the border and reaches Madison in about ninety minutes up US-151. Cedar Rapids and Iowa City do it in roughly two and a half hours. A Quad Cities team drives farther to Sioux City than it would to a WSS championship weekend in Wisconsin.
