Wisconsin Sports Services Runs Youth Tournaments & Leagues for Illinois Teams
Illinois brings one of the largest youth sports markets in the country, and Chicagoland, Rockford, and downstate clubs are core to every WSS field — from youth basketball weekends including the 2027 Girls State Tournament, the 2027 Boys State Tournament, and The State Circuit, to baseball, softball, flag football, and lacrosse. How far are WSS events from Chicagoland?
About 2.5 hours from downtown Chicago to Madison up I-90, and just an hour from Rockford. Every listing on the Events page includes the venue address, and Hotel & Travel covers team overnights.
How does my Illinois team register?
Pick your event on the Events page and register online. A parent or legal guardian completes registration and the waiver for athletes under 18; coaches or managers register teams.
What divisions do you offer?
Divisions run by age, grade, and skill level and vary by sport and event — each event listing spells out its divisions. More in the full FAQ.
Do you help teams with hotels and travel?
Yes — our Hotel & Travel page lists partner hotels near event venues with booking links.
What happens if weather affects an event?
